Quant Comps Inc. ("Quant Comps," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy and security of the personal information entrusted to us.

This Privacy Policy describes how Quant Comps collects, uses, processes, stores, protects, and discloses personal and business-related information in connection with quantcomps.com (the "Site"), our communications, client onboarding, authorized-user onboarding, technical support, managed information technology services, cybersecurity services, and related business operations.

Quant Comps is a Florida-based managed information technology and cybersecurity services company serving businesses and organizations in the United States.

By using the Site or voluntarily providing information to Quant Comps, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Where Quant Comps provides services pursuant to a Master Services Agreement ("MSA"), Managed Services Agreement, Statement of Work ("SOW"), Business Associate Agreement ("BAA"), Data Processing Agreement, security addendum, order, proposal, or other written agreement, that agreement may establish additional or more specific obligations.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information we may collect or process through:

• WhatsApp or other client-authorized messaging platforms;
• customer-support communications;
• support tickets;
• client onboarding;
• employee and authorized-user onboarding;

• Microsoft 365 and cloud administration;
• cybersecurity monitoring;
• endpoint detection and response;
• backup and disaster-recovery services;
• identity and authentication administration;
• billing and account administration; and
• other interactions relating to Quant Comps' legitimate business operations.

This Privacy Policy does not replace the privacy policies of our clients or of independent third-party service providers.

2. Our Role When Serving Business Clients

Quant Comps primarily provides services to businesses and professional organizations.

Depending upon the circumstances, Quant Comps may process information:

• for its own legitimate business purposes;
• as a service provider or processor acting on behalf of a client;
• as a managed service provider;
• as a cybersecurity provider;
• as a third-party agent;
• as a business associate under HIPAA when an applicable BAA is in effect; or
• in another capacity established by applicable law or contract.

When information is controlled by one of our business clients, that organization generally determines which employees or users should receive access to its systems and what information should be provided to Quant Comps.

The client remains responsible for its own employment, workforce, privacy, regulatory, and authorization requirements except to the extent Quant Comps expressly assumes a particular responsibility through a written agreement.

3. Information We May Collect

The information collected depends upon the relationship between Quant Comps, the client organization, and the individual.

A. Contact and Business Information

We may collect:

• first name;
• last name;
• company or organization;
• job title;
• department;
• business email address;
• telephone number;
• mobile telephone number;
• business address;
• support contact information;
• authorized-contact status; and
• information included in communications with us.

B. Client Employee and Authorized-User Onboarding Information

When a Quant Comps client asks us to onboard an employee, contractor, administrator, owner, manager, or other authorized user, we may collect information reasonably necessary to create, configure, secure, manage, or recover that person's access.

This information may include:

• first name;
• last name;
• work email address;
• personal email address when a work email address has not yet been assigned or when reasonably necessary for onboarding or account recovery;
• mobile telephone number;
• job role or department;
• username or User Principal Name;
• device assignment;
• required applications;
• required system access;
• access permissions;
• Multifactor Authentication ("MFA") enrollment information;
• authentication enrollment status;
• account-recovery information; and
• support contact information.

Personal Email Addresses

When the client's system design does not provide the new user with an immediately available business email account, Quant Comps may request a personal email address for legitimate onboarding, authentication, account-recovery, invitation, or support purposes.

We will not treat the submission of a personal email address as ownership of that account by the client's organization.

Mobile Telephone Numbers

A mobile telephone number may be required when necessary to:

• establish MFA;
• verify identity;
• recover an account;
• deliver security notifications;
• coordinate technical support;
• communicate an urgent system issue; or
• perform another authorized IT-security function.

Users should provide a telephone number to which they are authorized to receive the applicable security or support communications.

4. Employee and User Authorization

Quant Comps may require a new employee, contractor, or authorized user to complete an onboarding acknowledgement or authorization before onboarding is completed.

The form may authorize Quant Comps to contact the user for legitimate IT and cybersecurity purposes, including:

• onboarding;
• account setup;
• computer setup;
• MFA configuration;
• login assistance;
• password or account-recovery coordination;
• software deployment;
• operating-system updates;
• application updates;
• security updates;
• maintenance;
• cybersecurity notifications;
• suspicious-login notifications;
• device-related notifications;
• support requests;
• service interruptions;
• cybersecurity education; and
• other work-related IT matters.

Completion of an onboarding authorization does not automatically constitute consent to receive automated promotional SMS or marketing calls where separate consent is required by law.

5. Device, Network, Security, and Technical Information

When Quant Comps provides IT or cybersecurity services, our systems and authorized service providers may process technical information including:

• computer name or hostname;
• IP address;
• MAC address;
• device identifiers;
• operating system;
• hardware inventory;
• software inventory;
• system configuration;
• network configuration;
• network activity;
• patch and update status;
• security status;
• firewall information;
• account information;
• login and authentication events;
• security logs;
• system logs;
• endpoint telemetry;
• malware information;
• vulnerability information;
• threat-detection information;
• endpoint detection and response events;
• backup status;
• backup metadata;
• remote-monitoring information;
• software versions;
• application information;
• remote-support metadata; and
• other technical information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, or support managed systems.

6. Remote Support

When a client or authorized user requests or permits remote technical support, authorized Quant Comps personnel may be able to view or interact with information available on the applicable device or system.

Depending upon the support request, this could include:

• applications;
• files;
• desktop contents;
• settings;
• system information;
• email applications;
• network configuration; or
• other information accessible through the authorized session.

Quant Comps personnel are expected to access information only to the extent reasonably necessary to perform authorized services.

Remote-access capabilities do not grant Quant Comps ownership of client information.

7. Website Information

When you visit quantcomps.com, our hosting, networking, form-processing, security, content-delivery, or infrastructure providers may automatically process technical information including:

• IP address;
• browser type;
• operating system;
• device type;
• referring page;
• requested pages;
• timestamps;
• network information;
• error logs;
• security events; and
• other standard website logs.

We may use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, protect, and improve the Site.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Quant Comps does not currently intentionally use third-party behavioral-advertising cookies on the Site.

Our website infrastructure, hosting, cybersecurity, content-delivery, or other essential providers may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for:

• performance; or
• operation of the Site.

If Quant Comps materially changes its use of advertising, analytics, or other nonessential tracking technologies, we will update this Privacy Policy and implement additional notices or choices when required by applicable law.

• communicate vulnerabilities and security risks;
• provide account and billing communications;
• maintain business and accounting records;
• enforce agreements;
• protect Quant Comps and its clients;
• prevent fraud and unauthorized access;
• comply with applicable law;
• respond to lawful legal processes;
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
• improve our services.

We do not intentionally use information maintained within a client's managed environment for purposes unrelated to the services we provide unless authorized or permitted by applicable law.

10. Service, Security, Policy, Educational, and Newsletter Communications

Quant Comps may send clients, business contacts, and authorized users informational communications relating to their relationship with Quant Comps.

These communications may include:

• cybersecurity alerts;
• emerging cybersecurity threats;
• vulnerability notices;
• account-security information;
• technology best practices;
• software changes;
• platform changes;
• maintenance information;
• system notifications;
• Privacy Policy updates;
• Terms of Use updates;
• significant service changes;
• technology education;
• technology news;
• security awareness information;
• information concerning technologies commonly used by our clients; and
• Quant Comps company news and announcements.

Business contacts and authorized users may be added to Quant Comps' business and technology email communications as part of an existing or prospective business relationship.

Marketing Communications

When an email's primary purpose is commercial advertising or promotion of Quant Comps products or services, Quant Comps will provide an appropriate method to unsubscribe as required by applicable law.

Recipients may unsubscribe from marketing communications without terminating legitimate IT-support or security communications.

An unsubscribe from marketing does not prevent Quant Comps from sending appropriate:

• security alerts;
• account notices;
• service notices;
• system notifications;
• support communications;
• maintenance notifications;
• billing communications;
• contractual notices;
• Privacy Policy notices;
• Terms of Use notices;
• cybersecurity recommendations; or
• other transactional or relationship communications.

Commercial email communications will be administered in accordance with applicable U.S. email-marketing requirements.

11. SMS, Telephone, and Messaging Communications

Clients and authorized users may provide telephone numbers to Quant Comps for:

• support;
• MFA;
• authentication;
• identity verification;
• account recovery;
• security notifications;
• maintenance notices;
• service communications; and
• urgent technology matters.

Quant Comps may communicate using SMS, telephone, WhatsApp, or another approved messaging platform when authorized or reasonably appropriate to the service relationship.

A telephone number provided for MFA, onboarding, authentication, support, or cybersecurity purposes does not automatically constitute consent to receive automated promotional marketing text messages or marketing calls where separate consent is required by law.

12. Security Recommendations and Communications Records

Quant Comps may identify cybersecurity, reliability, operational, compliance, software, hardware, network, backup, or other technology risks while providing services.

Quant Comps may communicate recommendations or warnings to authorized owners, managers, administrators, representatives, or other designated client contacts through:

• email;
• support tickets;
• written reports;
• SMS;
• WhatsApp;
• telephone followed by written documentation; or
• another authorized communication method.

We may retain records of these communications for legitimate purposes including:

• service documentation;
• cybersecurity;
• risk management;
• support history;
• contractual compliance;
• dispute resolution;
• insurance;
• legal compliance; and
• protection of Quant Comps and our clients.

Responsibilities associated with recommendations that a client rejects, delays, prevents, or ignores are addressed more specifically in the Quant Comps Terms of Use and applicable client agreements.

13. Information Sharing and Service Providers

Quant Comps does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

We may provide information to vendors and service providers when reasonably necessary to operate our business or provide authorized client services.

• endpoint monitoring;
• remote support;
• cybersecurity;
• antivirus protection;
• endpoint detection and response;
• managed detection and response;

• accounting;

Information may also be disclosed:

• at the client's direction;
• with appropriate authorization;
• to satisfy applicable law;
• pursuant to lawful legal process;
• to protect our rights or systems;
• to investigate fraud or cybersecurity incidents;
• to respond to a security emergency;
• in connection with a corporate acquisition, merger, reorganization, financing, or sale; or
• when otherwise permitted or required by law.

14. Sensitive and Regulated Information

Because Quant Comps provides IT and cybersecurity services to businesses, our systems or authorized technicians may occasionally process information subject to sector-specific requirements.

• insurance-related information;

• protected health information;
• customer records; or
• other regulated information.

Where a Business Associate Agreement, Data Processing Agreement, confidentiality agreement, security addendum, or other specialized agreement is required, the applicable agreement controls the additional obligations established by that agreement.

Quant Comps uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information under our control.

Depending upon the service and environment, these may include:

• Multifactor Authentication;
• access controls;
• endpoint security;
• endpoint detection and response;
• cybersecurity monitoring;
• encryption;
• network-security controls;
• secure credential management;
• system logging;
• backup;
• recovery procedures;
• vulnerability management;
• patch management; and
• administrative security procedures.

No organization, cybersecurity provider, cloud service, software application, network, backup system, or electronic communication system can guarantee absolute security.

Accordingly, Quant Comps cannot guarantee that cybersecurity incidents, unauthorized access, data loss, service interruptions, software vulnerabilities, third-party compromises, or other security events will never occur.

16. Security Incidents and Breach Notification

Quant Comps maintains procedures for evaluating suspected security incidents involving information under our control.

When notification is required by applicable law or an applicable written agreement, Quant Comps will provide or assist with required notification consistent with those obligations.

When Quant Comps acts as a service provider, processor, third-party agent, or business associate, responsibilities between Quant Comps and the applicable client will also be determined by the governing agreement and applicable law.

17. Data Retention

Quant Comps retains information for periods reasonably necessary for purposes including:

• providing services;
• maintaining account records;
• cybersecurity;
• troubleshooting;
• system administration;
• contract administration;
• accounting;
• taxation;
• insurance;
• regulatory compliance;
• dispute resolution;
• litigation;
• fraud prevention; and
• other legitimate business requirements.

Retention periods depend upon the nature of the information, the services involved, applicable contracts, applicable law, backup systems, and operational requirements.

Information contained within backup systems may remain until the applicable backup-retention cycle expires.

18. Client Responsibility for Employee and User Information

Clients are responsible for:

• identifying authorized users;
• providing lawful onboarding instructions;
• notifying Quant Comps when access should be modified;
• promptly notifying Quant Comps of employee departures;
• obtaining workforce notices or authorizations for which the employer is responsible;
• keeping authorized-contact information current;
• providing accurate onboarding and offboarding information; and
• informing Quant Comps of changes to ownership, managers, authorized contacts, email addresses, or telephone numbers.

Quant Comps may reasonably rely upon instructions received from properly designated client representatives unless we have reason to believe an instruction is fraudulent, unauthorized, or materially unsafe.

19. Privacy Rights

Depending upon applicable law and the individual's location, a person may have rights relating to personal information, which can include rights to request:

• access;
• correction;
• deletion;
• confirmation of processing; or
• information concerning applicable privacy practices.

Not all rights apply in every situation, and legal exceptions may apply.

Where Quant Comps processes information solely on behalf of a business client, requests relating to that information may need to be submitted to the applicable client organization.

Quant Comps may require reasonable verification before processing a privacy request.

20. Children's Privacy

Quant Comps provides business technology services and does not direct the Site or its services to children.

We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through the Site.

If Quant Comps learns that information was collected from a child in circumstances where parental or guardian authorization is legally required and was not obtained, we will take appropriate action consistent with applicable law.

21. Third-Party Websites and Services

Quant Comps may link to, integrate with, configure, resell, administer, or otherwise interact with third-party products, websites, software, cloud platforms, telecommunications providers, or cybersecurity services.

Those providers operate under their own terms, security practices, privacy notices, and policies.

Quant Comps is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties except to the extent responsibility is expressly established by law or written agreement.

22. No Sale of Personal Information

Quant Comps does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Quant Comps does not currently use personal information collected through quantcomps.com for third-party cross-context behavioral advertising.

If these practices materially change, this Privacy Policy will be updated and legally required notices or choices will be provided.

23. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Quant Comps may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:

Changes to this Privacy Policy do not automatically modify a separately executed client contract except where the applicable agreement or applicable law expressly provides otherwise.

24. Governing Law

Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, this Privacy Policy is governed by applicable United States federal law and the laws of the State of Florida.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to waive legal rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be waived.

25. Relationship to Client Agreements

This Privacy Policy supplements and does not replace any applicable:

• Master Services Agreement;
• Managed Services Agreement;
• Statement of Work;
• Business Associate Agreement;
• Data Processing Agreement;
• cybersecurity addendum;
• service order;
• proposal; or
• other written contract.

If a specifically applicable written agreement establishes different or additional obligations concerning data, security, confidentiality, incident response, or privacy, the written agreement will control to the extent of the conflict and to the extent permitted by law.
